Scope

Publication

This publication documents the audiences and users formed through student projects, as well as the networked publics that emerge through distribution and reception. It compiles a range of communities tied to the subjects of the work, offering insight into how different groups are involved with and impacted by various design themes.

Through this process, the project expands the understanding of “Design Publics” by encouraging a broader perspective on the infrastructures that shape our social environments. It highlights how design operates within interconnected systems—both visible and invisible—to influence communication, interaction, and societal function. This work was developed collaboratively with Jin Cho, Esther Lee, and Lizzy Shin, emphasizing a shared approach to research, organization, and publication design.
